How to Get your Authorize.net API KeysThis guide walks you through connecting your Checkout Champ account to your Authorize.net gateway. Once completed, you’ll be ready to process live transactions through your funnels or campaigns.
Log in to your Checkout Champ Admin account: app.checkoutchamp.com
Go to Gateways → Gateway Integrations.
Locate the Authorize.net tile.
Click + Activate to begin setup.
After clicking + Activate, the Create New Gateway page opens.
Confirm the Gateway field shows Authorize.net.
Enter the information from your Authorize.net approval sheet, section by section.
Add the details your customers will see if they contact support:

| Descriptor (Required) | The name appearing on customers’ bank statements. |
| MID # (Required) | Merchant ID from your VAR sheet. |
| Processor / ISO | Information supplied by your merchant provider. |
When all fields are complete, click Create Gateway.
Double-check all values for accuracy before saving.
Follow Checkout Champ’s “Testing a New Gateway” procedure.
If using Sandbox Mode, run a test using the test card (4111 1111 1111 1111, Exp 12/25, CVV 123).
Confirm the transaction appears as “Approved” in Checkout Champ → Transactions and in your Authorize.net Portal.
Once verified, switch the gateway to Live Mode and replace sandbox credentials with your live ones.
Go to Campaigns → Manage Campaigns.
Open each campaign that should use this gateway.
Under Billing → Gateway, choose your new Authorize.net gateway from the dropdown.
Click Save Campaign.
Perform a small live test transaction ($1.00) to confirm end-to-end processing.
If anything in the gateway setup does not behave the way this guide describes, reach your Compaytence representative before you switch to live mode.
