Connect Your Checkout Champ Account
to NMI

The same setup, start to finish, on screen. The written steps below follow the video exactly.

You need your NMI credentials before you start. This short walkthrough shows where to find them.

This guide walks you through connecting your Checkout Champ account to your NMI (Network Merchants) gateway. Once completed, you’ll be ready to process live transactions through your funnels or campaigns.

   Log in to your Checkout Champ Admin account: app.checkoutchamp.com

   Go to Gateways → Gateway Integrations.

   Locate the NMI tile.

   Click + Activate to begin setup.

After clicking + Activate, the Create New Gateway page opens.

   Confirm the Gateway field shows NMI.

   Enter the information from your NMI approval sheet, section by section.

Limits and Fees

From your approval sheet.

• Monthly CapSet your monthly processing limit.
• Include RefundsEnable if you want refund amounts counted toward the cap.
• Discount Rate, Transaction Fee, Reserve Rate, Chargeback Fee, RDR FeeEnter values from your approval sheet.

Trial Settings

• Validate Card AmountEnter the small authorization amount (e.g. $1–$15) used if your offer validates cards before charging.

Additional Options

• EnabledMust be checked to allow transactions.
• Block Pre-Paid / Block Debit CardsEnable if your processor requires these restrictions.
• Accepted PaymentsSelect all card types your MID supports (Visa, MC, AmEx, Discover, eCheck).

Merchant Details

When all fields are complete, click Create Gateway.

   Follow Checkout Champ’s “Testing a New Gateway” procedure.

   If using Sandbox Mode, run a test using the test card (4111 1111 1111 1111, Exp 12/25, CVV 123).

   Confirm the transaction appears as “Approved” in Checkout Champ → Transactions and in your NMI Portal.

   Once verified, switch the gateway to Live Mode and replace sandbox credentials with your live ones.

   Go to Campaigns → Manage Campaigns.

   Open each campaign that should use this gateway.

   Under Billing → Gateway, choose your new NMI gateway from the dropdown.

   Click Save Campaign.

   Perform a small live test transaction ($1.00) to confirm end-to-end processing.
